“Stewardship Basics,” a new eight-part Bible study from LCMS Stewardship Ministry, is available at no charge to help congregations start a discussion of whole-life stewardship.
This study was the central piece to the Major Applied Project for the Rev. Dr. Nathan Meador’s Doctor of Ministry degree. It is presented to help congregations find the correct starting point for a renewed discussion of who God has created and redeemed His stewards to be for Him. The participant guide can be downloaded here. https://blogs.lcms.org/2017/synod-releases-eight-part-stewardship-basics-bible-study

The Book of James (May 2020; Virtual)
TRIALS & SUFFERING ; A Two-Week Study of James
James, the brother of Jesus, wrote a timeless and timely letter to Christians explaining the purpose of and pathway through trials and suffering.
Download this PDF, which contains BSF’s two-week study of James, for God’s eternal words of encouragement in the midst of crisis. After each week of study, listen to the corresponding podcast – a lecture that is similar to what local BSF groups around the world hear from their own teaching leader.
We pray the book of James helps draw you closer to God. This Bible Study was the first virtual study at St. Paul, managed through ZOOM. Chris Schultz organized and led this study.
