Pastor Schmidt attended the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and Concordia Seminary in St. Louis. His first call was as associate pastor at St. John Lutheran Church in Waltz, MI, where he served eight years. He has been at St. Paul since May, 2013. Pastor Schmidt has been married to his wife, Jennifer since 2010 and they have a son, Luke. Pastor enjoys listening to music, going to movies, reading books, cycling, and traveling.
Mr. Paul began his college studies at Concordia University, Ann Arbor then transferred to Concordia University, Seward, NE, where he received his B.S. degree in Education with a concentration in church music. Mr. Paul earned a Master’s in Organ Performance from Wayne State University in 2003. He serves St. Paul Church and School by playing the organ for worship, directing various choirs and ensembles, and teaching in the middle school.
Pam has been a long-time member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. She has served in her present capacity since 1993. She has two grown children, Steven and Kimberly, who both attended St. Paul Lutheran School. Pam enjoys traveling, scrapbooking, reading, and animals of all kinds, but mostly loves dogs.
Ken has been a long time member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.He began working for the church part-time in 2002 as financial secretary. Together with his wife, Sylvia, they have four grown children and three grandchildren. He enjoys golf, camping, and watching football.
