SUMMARY:Lutheran Schools Week
DESCRIPTION:As part of our Lutheran Schools’ Week activities\, we generally like to include some type of service/outreach activity for the children. This year we have decided to collect and assemble “Care Packages” for the people who will be staying here during the Easter Week as part of the South Oakland Shelter Program. \nWe are asking students to bring in particular items\, based on their class. Please see the list below to know that your child should be sending in: \nPreschool:  1- 2 small bottles of hand sanitizer \nKindergarten:  2- 3 tubes of Chapstick \n1st Grade:  2- 3 rolls of fruit Life Savers \n2nd Grade:  1 6 pack of Hershey Bars \n3rd Grade:  2- 3 Boxes of Tic Tacs \n4th Grade:  2- 3 Individually packaged toothbrushes \n5th Grade:  2- 3 Travel Sized Tissue Packs \n6th Grade:  4 pack of Washcloths ($1 at Walmart) \n7the Grade:  2- 3 small bottles or tubes of lotion \n8the Grade:  1 Box of 500 QTips \nChildren may bring items to their classroom throughout the week of February 26 –  March 2. We’ll be packing and assembling “kits” on Monday\, March 5\, so please have items to school by that date. As always\, Thank You for your help and support.
