Preschool Staff

Ms. Joanne Bierwirth – Preschool/Extended Care Director

Ms. Bierwirth was born in Detroit and has lived in Berkley all her life. She received her BSN with a minor in Developmental Psy. in 1975 from WSU. She comes to our school with 20 years preschool experience, 8 years day camp experience, and 8 years latchkey experience. She is presently working toward an associate degree in early childhood and has finished Colloquy classes at Concordia, Ann Arbor. She enjoys gardening, painting, swimming, traveling, and reading.

Mrs. Katina Muse – Preschool Aide

Mrs. Muse graduated from Madison High School. She has been a member of St. Paul for 8 years. She has a family of 6 and loves being a mother and wife of 11 years. She enjoys photography, cooking, reading, and volleyball.

Mrs. Sandy Gostiaux – Preschool Aide

Mrs. Gostiaux grew up in Sterling Heights. She moved to Royal Oak with her husband in 1992. She has many years experience working with children. She has been involved with PTA, worked as a lunch monitor, and subbed for the secretary and Para-professional at Oakland Elementary in Royal Oak. Sandy enjoys reading, relaxing at her cabin, and watching her boys' sporting events.
